| May 07, 2009 | | Brutal but brief indoor training for the outdoor sport you love! | Tuesday, May 5 kicked off the start to the VAC's spring cycle conditioning program. VAC offered complimentary body composition analysis, a measure of your body's lean and fat mass and analysis of its distribution throughout your body, an amazing baseline and tool for setting fitness goals and tracking progress.
Body comps were followed by the Tue @ 5:30 pm "Interval Training & Strength for Cyclists" class, led by trainer Drew Tarkington. Class incorporates 30 minutes of heart-rate based interval training on our indoor spinners and 30 minutes of strength training for cyclists in our functional gym.

Join us on Thursday @ 5:30 for Steve Smith's "Power Session for Cyclists," an intense and motivational class designed to help you maximize and increase power on the bike.
We know it's nice outside--so get out and ride! But come in for these great conditioning classes that will give you a workout that's tough to do climbing up Vail Pass. Plus, the participant who attends the most cycle training sessions will win a FREE entry to the Colorado-Eagle River Ride on Saturday, July 25. | | |
